To get a tattoo artist license you have to be 18 years or older. You should have a diploma stating you have completed high school or a GED. You will need to get a certificate for bloodborne pathogen training. You need to have done a basic first aid training. You will need to fill out the Tattoo Artist application, pay a specified fee to the Department of Licensing and get the license.
