Will I get JSA if i'm Married?

+3 votes
I got married recently and I was wondering "hoping" if I can still claim for JSA? My wife works 37 hours per week and we are finding it very difficult to cope with my current unemployed situation.

If you have any information can someone please let me know.

 Thanks.

Commencing Oct 2013, Universal Credit replaced JSA and other benefits. It is intended to replace income-based JSA. A new JSA needs to be filed by claimant and then be interviewed at the local Job Center every two weeks to sign on. Go to search engine and enter "Jobseeker's Allowance". Read and click on highlighted key words within to learn more and see how it pertains to you.
