how to spot sand wood floor to put finish on

bare spots on wood floor from foot and pet traffic. how to just spot refinish

If the scratches or foot mark on the floor then you can rub or sand your floor with the buffer and apply the fresh coat twice to finish. It is the easier and less expensive than sanding down and it takes less time too. once the finish is rough, put polyurethane which is water based and that can be coated again after 3 hours. The polyurethane oil is cheaper, but it will take 8 hours to dry the each coat, in few minutes your floor will look new and you can apply a coat atleast once in two years and it will never come out
