How do I stop myself from killing myself?

I am absolutely miserable.I have a long history of tradgety in my life, and now it's getting even worse.I have to go to court against my stepmom because she tried to molest me(this woman has kicked me out of the house three times just because she was having a psychotic episode and blamed it on me,and has tried to beat me up when I was severely injured. She is mentally ill and my father sides with her every fucking time). My real mom is helping me through this, but I'm still in a lot of pain.I have always been a suicidal kid,but now,I sit in my room behind a locked door holding a knife to my wrist and telling myself to,"Just do it already.".my mom has walked in on me doing this before,so now I have to hide my knife so she won't find it.I am a wreck,I don't know what to do.Please help me.

Once all your worries are gone you cannot come back. Don't do something lasting for all because of  impermanent feelings. Every emotion you have is lasting. We never stay annoyed for long, we don't stay disturbed forever and we also don't stay pleased. We need to feel this affecting roller coaster in order to grow. If we were happy all the time we wouldn't learn anything in life.

Perhaps knowing you are not alone escapes you at present. You need a grip on your sanity to remember you cause positive changes by expecting them, not just for yourself but those around you. Focus on the immediate future. It is changing for the better. Cooperate with those you know without doubt have your wholeness wrapped in love and comfort. Work with them and not against them. Decide to help yourself by standing on your own two feet and stating you are worth surviving and proving life is what you think it is and grow with faith in your life turning around for the better.
