I know CEO and COO stand for, but don't know what their specific duties are. Can anyone explain the difference?

CEO is Chief Executive Officer is highest ranking corporate officer and is in charge of total management of an organisation and he reports to board of directors.

Whereas Chief Operating Officer also called Operations Director can be one of the highest ranking executives in an organization and will consist of C Suite.And is in charge of daily operation of the company.
