What's the most common prescribed antibiotic ointment for my dogs mild conjunctivitis or pink eye?

My dog has itchy, watery, irritated eyes. The liquid us clear and I would say it looks like what I've read to be described as serous or follicular conjunctivitis. He has had swollen eyes from allergies to flea topical gel before. I got antihistamine eye drops and anti inflammatory eye drops and bathed and wiped his clean gently flushing to clean prior to drops. The drops are for humans but I was wondering if I'm correct in my selections of treatments or should I add an antibiotic ointment. I prefer not steroid in case of abrasions and there lack of healing propertys. Any suggestions? help i'm broke and can't afford the vet and I really don't think this can't be treated at home carefully.

For your dogs mild conjunctivitis which is serous conjunctivitis it can be treated at home by washing dogs eye with sterile saline eyewash which has to be done in a day for 3 or 4 times and also you can use antibiotic and corticosteroid cream.
