I've been going to the gym for about a year now and I haven't gotten injured or anything other than my shin splints. About a month ago I started getting this pain in my hip. It wasn't bad until after the gym so I just thought I had pushed myself to hard. At first I just brushed it off thinking I may have pulled something but the pain has been getting worse. I haven't been able to run correctly, sleep on my side or let alone walk without a limp. The pain has moved from my upper hip to the side and now the back of my butt and back thigh. I've made a doctors appt but I was just wondering if you guys would have a guess as to what it could be just to get my mind off of it or if it is more serious than I had presumed. Ps: Each week it (the pain) gets worse and worse, I was considering going to the ER but I don't want go in complaining about my hip hurting if it's just a pulled muscle.
