Weight loss help

Okay so I'm trying to lose weight not too fast but fast. I was wondering if i eat 700-800 cal or less a day and exercise like usually, will it work? Now I heard stories about people STARVING themselves and just gaining it all back but this isent exactly starving. Please answer as soon as possible

Avoid sugar and drink more and more water.
