I'm buying a house in Nassau. The contract is signed and commitment letter issued, can seller still able to back out from the deal? My contract end in mid Sept. My attorney already sent all the necessary paperworks to seller attorney but they are not answering. The seller attorney sent back the deposit check and didn't give me a reason why they want to back out of the deal. I think the buyer is not answering because they are waiting for the contract to expire. is there any ways to have the seller commit to the contract and force them to sell the house without filing a law suit?
