Does the older child on your insurance now still have to abide by requirements to attend college?

Under the new rules for insurance a child can have insurance under the parent's policy until 26. I am wondering if that still take sthe same requirements of attending college for them to be under the insurance?

Health reform requires most plans to cover children up to age 26.  The child is not required to be attending college in order to qualify for coverage on the parent's plan.  The child is also not required to be living with the parent, to be financially dependent upon the parent, or to be unmarried.  If the child is married, the parent's plan cannot cover the child's spouse however.
