Adult men and women need about 4,700 mg of potassium each day. Here's a list of foods that will provide you with more than 300 mg per serving:

Avocado (1/2 medium)
Banana (1 small)
Cantaloupe (1 C.)
Honeydew melon (1 C.)
Lentils (1/2 c. cooked)
Mango (1 medium)
Papaya (1 medium)
Pinto beans (1/2 c. cooked)
Potato, with skin (1/2 medium)
Prune juice (1 C.)
Raisins (1/3 C.)
Salmon, baked or broiled (3 oz.)
Soy milk (1 C.)
Sweet potato, with skin (1 medium)
Tomato (1 medium)/tomato juice (1 C.)
White milk (1 C. -- even skim!)
Yogurt (6 oz.)

And you may not want to eat too much, but just 1 T. of molasses has almost 500 mg. of potassium.
