If I have a loan with a company that files chapter 7 bankruptcy do I still owe the loan?

+4 votes
I was recently notified that the company that I took a loan from used an illegal contract and that two judges have ruled against them in two seperate cases. A lawyer informed me that I was noted on a class action suit and that the contract that I have with the company is not enforceable. I still owe 5 years on the loan. The company has filed chapter 7 bankruptcy. Do I legaly have to continue to pay the loan or does the chapter 7 bankruptcy eliminate my requirement to pay regardless of the unenforceable contract?
