All Federally Recognized Tribes or Nations have the same requirement and that is YOU must prove you descend from a person on that Tribe or Nations base roll. I will use Cherokee as an example. There are 3 Federally Recognized Nations
1. The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma...YOU must prove you descend from a person on the Dawes Roll, there is no blood quantum requirement.
2. The Eastern Band of Cherokee...YOU must prove you descend from a person on the Baker Roll and have a minumim of 1/16 blood quantum.
3. The United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee...YOU must prove you descend from a person on the Dawes Roll and have a minumum of 1/4 blood quantum.
