What bugs are orange with grey stripes and have red eyes with large mandibles?

The American burying beetle is a part of the flesh scarab family Silphidae. It is substantial, with a few people arriving at a length of 1.5 inches. It is like different types of Nicrophorus in that it is glossy dark and notably checked with two brilliant organ groups on each one wing spread, however dissimilar to alternate species its pronotum and frons are additionally splendid orange.
