How does eating potatoes help the body?

The potatoe is low inSaturated Fat and sodium. It is a good source of Vitamin C, B6, Potassium and Manganese.

High in dietary fiber.

It is an inexpensive food.

They are considered good for you. Some specialty diets such as Low-Carb diets tell you to avoid potatoes. This is just due to this specific type of diet. Potatoes have high carbs but that is not necessarily bad for you.

Do not fry (French Fries or Potatoe Chips) them. It is not good for you prepared this way.
