Do the Easter Island heads have bodies?

The "Easter Island Heads", or  Moai, were roughly 890 stone full body statues although the heads were disproportionately large and more intricately carved. The Moai are commonly referred to as heads vast majority of the statues remaining still intact subsequent to the invention of the photograph were buried up to their necks with only the heads protruding from the ground.
