If the inmate is eligible for a property bond you must go to the Long County Sheriff's Office with proper identification of all parties on the property and proof of the property(s) value. A $20.00 bond fee must be paid to the county as well. This must be paid via cash, cashiers check or money order. The Liberty County jail, run by Community Education Centers (CEC) has seen its per diem rates rise 64% in the past year. Last summer the county paid $46.50 per inmate per day.
