One way to make sure you have a strong harvest is to start your seeds indoors so then they they are already strong when it is time to transplant them. If you plan to grow your own seedlings, start such crops indoors in late winter in order to have plants ready to set out in the garden when the weather has warmed up.  For more information you can refer this link.
