What is the best soil or dirt to use to grow crops at home?

The good quality soil depends upon the climatic conditions and the type of crop you are growing and it also varies from region to region.  The amount of clay, sand and silt basically known as the texture, describes the soil. Rich sandy loam is mostly ideal for various plants.
