This is about a breach in the contract. Even if the accusations are false, you would not want to remain there with apprehension of something happening to your belongings while away. Find a way to get funds for the move and do not prolong the stay. Put your belongings in storage and find a kitchenette or efficiency. Please hold on to the notice because you may not get security deposit back as the law dictates or it may be reduced to pay for repairs you did not cause. Leave the apartment clean, return the keys, put in a change of address where you need to. You could stay and wait for a court hearing brought on by the present owner but this is going ahead of yourself. Do not instigate more problems than you are prepared to handle.
