Is a&d ointment similar to neosporin?

A&D is a zinc oxide product, which is used more for burns and skin irritations (like diaper rash). Neosporin is an antibiotic -- actually a combo of three antibiotics (bacitracin, neomycin and polymyxin B) -- used for cuts and scrapes.
