Your question requires a speculative answer. The following are my thoughts.

I heard it said once that religion is merely man's search for God. I believe that those who reject the possibility that God exists cannot find the inner peace one can experience once he has learned who God is and how to commune with Him. We know that there are many religions and many who seek answers to questions about life and death and whether God exists. But even those who have chosen to follow a particular religious philosophy will not benefit from it unless they practice the teachings of their faith. Learning to live your faith can bring you the peace you desire and make the world around you a better place to be.

In the Christian faith, we are taught to try to get along with all men everywhere as much as is possible. (I can't find the particular scriptures I am referring to and will have to add a comment later when I find them.) Unfortunately, this lesson is not always practiced by Christians just as lessons of peace taught by other religious doctrines are not always practiced by those believers. If the faithful of all religious doctrines were to practice the peace taught by the founder's of their faith, then the world would be a better place to be. It comes down to this. We need to practice our teachings, not just talk about them.

The scripture I alluded to above is Romans 12:18. "If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men." A similar verse is Hebrews 12: 14. "Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord." (Both verses quoted from NASB.)

The Bible is the inspired Word of God. Regarding it, the Christian apostle Paul wrote: “All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.”—2 Timothy 3:16, 17. Just think—the apostle said that the Bible provides knowledge that can equip or enable us to do all that is good. It can help us to look at things from God’s point of view. And we know that God’s knowledge and wisdom are far above that of anyone else.  www.jw.org
