Honeysuckle plants do best in full sun but will do fine in semi-sunny areas. They don't need to be watered very often except during dry spells/droughts. If you want it to thrive you can fertilize it with a 10-10-10 fertilizer at the beginning of the growing season and halfway through the flowering season.

Honeysuckle is usually grown on a fence or trellis, but it also can be grown in containers or used as a ground cover.
