What is montsweag?

Well, there's the Montsweag Brook, a major tributary to the Sheepscot River in Maine. There are lots of things in Maine (a road, restaurant, flea market, bay, etc...) named Montsweag, and I'd guess it's because of that. (It must have some sort of Native American meaning, but I can't find one if it does.)
