Why isn't my period starting?

+5 votes
I'm thirteen and I just started having my period in January. For the past eight months, it's usually been starting at the beginning of the month, between the 1st and the 10th (it started on the 6th for the past two months). It's the 15th now and it still hasn't started, and I'm wondering if there are any reasons why it isn't starting (besides pregnancy - I'm definately not pregnant), or if it's just that my body hasn't gotten on schedule yet, and if there's any way I can get it to start so it finishes before Christmas.

The body is changing consistently and when menstruation begins, it is on schedule. Beginning to menstruate signals ability to produce life. The emotions felt can effect any timing of the flow. Therefore, be ready for the flow to occur when you stop working up a condition you created that is causing a delay. Relax.
